Other Admissions Information
Residence for Tuition Purposes
Every student will be classified as either a resident or nonresident for tuition purposes. Your determined classification is indicated in your letter of admission. If your legal residence has changed since you applied for admission or if it changes prior to your matriculation, you must promptly notify us in writing.
Medical Form
If you are not currently enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, you must complete the medical form you received in the mail with your admission letter or download a copy and return it to the Campus Health Service, Campus Box 7470, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-7470, by May 15, 2009. If you have any questions about the Immunization and Medical History Form, please call 919-966-2283 or email immunizations@unc.edu.
Admitted Student Listserv
Every year the Carolina Law Ambassadors (CLA), one of the School of Law's 50-plus student organizations, coordinates and supports a listserv for admitted students who have submitted an enrollment deposit. Invitations to register and participate in the listserv are mailed and the listserv usually launches in May.
An Invitation to Visit
The last day of classes is April 15. Admitted students are still welcome to visit. To plan a visit, please call 919.962.5109 or email law_admissions@unc.edu. Please note that we are in final exams and so it is possible that a student will not be available to give you a tour. In that event, you are welcome to take a self guided tour of the law school.
Updating Contact Information
If you have any changes to your mailing address, phone number, or email address, please immediately notify the Office of Admissions in writing by sending an email to law_admissions@unc.edu. Please note that you are responsible for updating your own contact information on Student Central, which will serve as your official University record, once you receive an identification number.
