Recreational Facilities

All UNC School of Law students may use the Recreational Sports Facilities free of charge with their UNC One Card. The Student Recreation Center, is adjacent to Fetzer Gym near the Bell Tower, and contains 1,000 sq. feet of aerobic space and 1,000 sq. feet of cardiovascular and strength conditioning space. The Center's hours are Monday through Thursday: 6:00 a.m.-midnight; Friday: 6:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.; Saturday: 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.; Sunday: 1:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. The Center operates on reduced hours during the summer and University breaks. The Rams Head Rec Center opened in the summer of 2005 and is located south of the School of Law on Ridge Road. This new facility houses three basketball/volleyball courts (one with dasher boards suitable for hockey and indoor soccer), weight training and cardio areas, a multi-purpose studio, suspended indoor track, indoor climbing wall, and locker rooms.
