International Programs
The UNC School of Law offers a number of opportunities for students interested in international law to enhance their legal education through exchange programs and study abroad. The following programs are open to students of the UNC School of Law. Non-UNC law students may attend our summer program in Sydney, Australia.
The School of Law also offers a Visiting Scholars and Visiting Researchers Program for foreign legal scholars who have already completed their legal education and wish to conduct research at UNC.

Semester Programs
The following are semester-long exchange programs available only to UNC law students. Each semester, second- and third-year law students are eligible to attend these selected foreign programs and earn up to 12 hours of law school credit. All foreign semester study programs concentrate on international and comparative law. Students are only required to be fluent in the native language of instruction (Spanish) for the Iberoamericana program; the other exchange sites offer law programs in both English and the language of that country (e.g., French and Dutch) from which to choose.
Students interested in these, or other international study opportunities, should contact Beverly Sizemore, Director of International Programs, at bevsize@email.unc.edu or (919) 843-6247 for more program information.
