Ann McColl's: Constitutional Tales, Capitol, Raleigh NC

Ann McColl, Attorney and Associate Professor at UNC School of Government will be weave together stories of the leaders and significant events that have influenced the development of North Carolina's constitutional requirements for education. In the set of tales that will be shared at the State Capitol, McColl will explore why North Carolina has such a long ballot of state elected officials and the often-time amended relationship between the State Board of Education and the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Funding Opportunities
2Ls Only: Early Decision Public Interest Summer Grant will be available
The School of Law will be awarding a limited number of public interest summer grants to 2Ls in the fall. The application is currently available through My Carolina Law (Student Life Tab, Select Summer Grant Application). Deadline to Apply: November 12. Students must have an offer from a public interest employer to receive a grant.
Please note: 2Ls will be eligible to apply for public interest summer grants in the spring of 2010 as well.
