Concern about the bar exam is common among students, and our faculty and staff have taken steps to help our students pass the exam and be as prepared as possible.

Throughout the year, the Student Services Office and the SOAR program host bar information sessions for third-year students, providing information that helps 3Ls prepare for the North Carolina bar exam.

For more information about UNC initiatives to build bar exam success, visit the SOAR Program offered through the school Writing and Learning Resources Center.

Each year, the Office of Student Services holds information sessions for the 2L and 3L classes about the bar exam and the bar application process. A recording of each presentation and all materials are then provided to all members of each class.

Students considering the New York State Bar should familiarize themselves with the pro bono requirements.
