Wednesday, August 21 - Friday, August 23, 2013 Registration: 3 p.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday, August 21, UNC School of Law Rotunda How to Prepare Bring a lock. Each student will be assigned a locker at Orientation and you will want to have your lock with you, especially if you plan to buy textbooks at Orientation. Dress in comfortable clothes. It is generally hot and muggy in Chapel Hill in late August, and the School of Law will be air-conditioned. However, because you will be spending some time outdoors, we encourage you to dress in casual and comfortable clothing. Plan your method of arrival in advance. Parking regulations on campus will be enforced during Orientation. First-year students are not eligible for parking permits on campus, except for students with disabilities or students who have been granted a hardship permit. Make arrangements to park off campus, take public transportation or have someone drop you off. You may park off-campus at the various Park and Ride lots, and take a bus to campus. All buses in the Chapel Hill Transit system are fare-free. Visit the Chapel Hill Transit website for routes and schedules.
