Pro Bono Projects

The UNC Law Pro Bono Program solicits pro bono projects from practicing attorneys interested in student assistance in providing pro bono legal services. Interested attorneys should submit specific assignments through the links to the right. The Pro Bono Program will advertise these projects to students and match interested students with the supervising attorney. Student responsibilities for submitted pro bono projects can include research, writing, client in-take, litigation preparation, investigation, community education, and advocacy.

We Need Volunteer Supervising Attorneys

The Pro Bono Program organizes clinics and trips throughout the year to provide legal services to North Carolina residents ranging from divorce to advance directives to consumer protection. We are always in need of lawyers to volunteer to supervise our students during clinics, which can be held anywhere throughout North Carolina.

If you are interested in volunteering in this capacity and would like more information about upcoming clinics and how you can get involved, please contact the program's faculty supervisor, Sylvia Novinsky.

Submit a Project

Please do not submit this form if you are an individual seeking legal advice.

By submitting a project, you are indicating to the UNC Law Pro Bono Program that you want law students work with you on the project submitted. While we will do our best to match students with postings, there are no guarantees that the position will be filled.
