About Us

Through the UNC LAW Community Outreach Program (LCOP), students will learn about various needs facing their community. Students will have the opportunity to participate in service projects, as well as learn about the communities they are supporting.

Students need opportunities to engage in their community beyond pro bono legal work. This program gives students the opportunity to develop a comprehensive perspective about community needs.

The UNC Law Community Outreach Program wants law students to invest in the surrounding community with their time and compassion. The Program will facilitate four community service projects throughout the year, focusing on areas of poverty, education, the environment, and public safety.

  • What: LCOP is teaming up with the UNC Habitat for Humanity Chapter to help build a house!
