Government: Rate for full-time University Counsel, JAG, Active Duty Military, Legal Aid, Federal,
State and Non-profit attorneys only.
Judiciary: Rate for full-time magistrate, judge or judicial clerk only.
Lawyer: Rate for new practitioners - within 2 years of their bar date; and unemployed
Academic: Rate for full-time educators only.
Paralegal: Rate for full-time paralegals (choose any 6 hours only).
Student: Rate for anyone currently enrolled as a student and NOT seeking CLE credit.
The registration desk for the Festival of Legal Learning opens at 7:30 a.m. on both Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15. Due to the popularity of Festival and space constraints within the Friday Center, on-site registration is strongly discouraged.
Please note: there is a set schedule for on-site registrants. You do not have a choice in what courses you can take, but you will receive the CLE credits that meet NC State Bar's annual requirement.
A lunch buffet provided by The Friday Center is available for an additional $20.

The Carolina Law Office of CLE will report credit to the North Carolina State Bar Board of Continuing Legal Education after the program. This program has been approved for 12 CLE credit hours from the NC State Bar. Credit hour categories include General, Ethics/Professional Responsibility, and Mental Health/Subtance Abuse.
The Friday Center
The Festival of Legal Learning will be held at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education, located approximately three miles east of the UNC-Chapel Hill campus on Friday Center Drive, just off N.C. 54 (Raleigh Road). Download directions ().
